Web security manager is more speciallized and if you can find a job doing it, it will likely pay more than a standard network admin job. Both are fun to a certain extent, but like anything you do for a living it becomes a job. The only real question that you should be asking yourself is. Which of these would I enjoy doing more?





A web security manager is basically a ';white hat'; hacker someone that knows the inside and out of security systems and different protocols so that they can prevent, track, and repair any damage that ';black hat'; hackers may inflict on their computer network. They also make sure things like SSL certificates are up to date, and that all antivirus, anti-malware, and other monitoring software is installed and correctly operational.What do you advice me to major in?web security manager or network administrator?
I assume keeps up the security of a web site or sites. Id say major in which ever one is more enjoyable to you. I would assume the web security would be more challenging especially since security is always a prime concern with everybody. GL
