not enough details to know what your situation is, and who you are trying to help, and why.
I can generalize at this point. Here is what I really, completely beleive:
Anyone can do anytihng they want for their career, anyone can make their life whatever they dream it can be. There are those who would argue that dreams are only for the rich, politically connected, socially popular folks from privileged homes.
I say that's wrong! Those who were successful quickly did it because of their money and status. Those who became successful at things slowly, are the nes who had to work for it. It comes together slowly, and it comes together WITH all of life's challenges.
There are going to be hard times, you'll feel like giving up, you'll think of yourself as stupid, ignorant, whatever those negative thoughts might be. They are a lie! You can change your life, YOU can have the successful career, sucessful personal life, enriching personal relationships, good support network, all of this! Yes, YOU!
I once was successful in my career though I was far from being financially well off. Success does not always mean tons of money. I lost everything, and am still rebuilding. However, I took the power back by standing up and deciding to pursue my very dream, not just one, but all of my dreams.
I'm not there yet, i'm a work in progress, as are all of us. You will get there!What is the best advice that you can give to someone about facing challenges, believing and finding strength?
You need a $1.29 worth of therapy. Go get in your car and drive down to McDonald's and buy yourself a large soda. Then look at the person that is slaving away behind the counter for almost no money at some odd hour dealing with that smell and grease permanantly imbedded in their psyche to try to make ends meet and realize that your life is all that bad after all. $1.29 well spent.What is the best advice that you can give to someone about facing challenges, believing and finding strength?
tell to yourself.. ';not everyone takes this chances.. and only few people has the opportunity to do so..';
and one more thing.. ';not everyone receives a second chance';
';If you're going through hell, keep in going. Don't look back. If you're scared, don't show it. You just might get out before the devil even knows you're there.';
That which does not kill us only makes us stronger. What would we be without the challenges and hurdles that have made us who we are today? You find out exactly who you are and what you have in you when you go through trials. Continue looking towards the future, taking one day at a time, and think positively.
I always try to remember that ';the way out is through.';
I like to tell people to believe in themselves and that the only time you truly fail is when you don't try. Everyone laughed at the Wright Brothers when they tried to make a machine that could fly. But, eventually, they succeeded.
My advice is believe in God. You have to start within yourself. If you are ok with who you are then all those things will be easier to have. You also just have to be positive in every situation, just know that things will get better eventually. Its also nice to have positive people around you. It makes a big difference in who you surround your self around. Read the Bible. It always helps me in times of need.
just think of other people who have more problems and have heavier burdens than you.... think that HE doesn't give challenges to you if HE thinks you can't do it.. God has a reason for allowing things to happen, we may never understand his wisdom but we simply have to trust his will.'; keep going!!!
I wish your question was more specific, but in general...most of the time the situations that seem to involve those things are ones where when you DO face the challenge, believe and find strength, it pays off. The first thing that comes to mind is my faith in God. I hesistate to offer any religious opinion, because we all have different beliefs and I don't want to make anyone uncomfortable, especially since Christians already have enough of a bad name for sometimes being too pushy and vocal about our beliefs...BUT...I will say that for me - I trust God and His plan, and when things are rough and I need to find strength for a challenge, having faith and trusting God helps me to not be afraid and really do the best I can, whatever that means for the situation. Again, I wish your question was more specific so I could relate some more specific examples of how that works. I mean, are you going through something difficult or looking for a message to write in a card for a graduate? It could be completely different.
