What can i use for my puppy's swollen face? Please don't offer advice if you don't know. Thanks?

I came home and my 7 month old puppy had a spot on his face. Like it was scratched by him or maybe our cats. It is very tiny. What ever it was it had his lips and face a little swollen. What can i do or put on it? I put some antibiotic cream on it. Let me know if you have had a similar incident.What can i use for my puppy's swollen face? Please don't offer advice if you don't know. I would put a little cortizone cream on it. A thought is it could have been bitten or stung by something and the dog scratched it. A little benadryl would not hurt. Check with the vet for dosage.What can i use for my puppy's swollen face? Please don't offer advice if you don't know. Thanks?
I use a triple antibiotic on my dogs but that could be mange as well so keep a close eye on it. I had a MinPin pup with what looked like a scratch and it turned out to be mange. It might even be ringworm which is contagious to pets and people. If it was a bug bite Benedryl is useful too, you need to keep a pet first aid kit around, I keep one in the house and car.
you asked ';what can i do';, take him to a vet to be sure. Cat scratches have been known to cause infection. guess where their claws have been? litter box, what's in the litter box?
I would give it a 25 mg benedryl or take it to the vet
